Joseph Kloz (Klotz) (1743 - 1809) was the son of Sebastian Kloz. The Kloz family was the best violin makers in Mittenwald in the 18th century. The violin arround 1770 is typical of this master and represents a top Mittenwald violin makers school. The sound is colorfull and powerfull. The violin is in a very good, well-preserved condition. The grafted neck. Labeled: "Sebastian Klotz in Mittenwald An. 1746". It is for sale with a certificate from Markus Barbarossa, Vienna 2023. LOB: 356 mm.
