Welcome to the official web site of Atelier Paganini. We deal with stringed musical instruments and we care for all aspects related to it.

My name is Miroslav Bureš and I’m the head of Atelier Paganini since it was founded in 1995. Thanks to the high quality of goods, experience and seriousness, the company has gained a number of satisfied customers all over the world. I would be delighted if you become one of them!

A milieu full of ancient and in many cases rare string instruments always emanates a certain mysterious atmosphere. Atelier Paganini offers a special world indeed, a world like that mentioned above, a world which blends in a elegant harmonious manner the nostalgia of ancient times and a musical present. Thanks to our highly specialized orientation on the bowed stringed instruments – violins, violas, cellos and double basses, plus complete accessories and service, we are able to create a professional environment with wide selection of instruments, supplied with full consulting service. Take a break, visit Atelier Paganini in Prague, let yourself be enchanted for a while and I’ll show you around with pleasure.

We offer a wide range of violins, violas, cellos, double basses, bows and all necessary accessories. We sell instruments for everyone: students, professionals, amateurs and collectors. We have new instruments as well as old ones from all historical periods of time. All of them are fully set up and ready to be played in our quiet room. Some of our instruments can be found on our web site; however, for a more detailed picture of what we have to offer, we kindly invite you to visit our atelier personally. In case you can’t make during opening hours, just give us a call or send us an e-mail and we’ll do our best to arrange an appointment whenever it suits you. Any further information regarding our goods and sales will also be answered by phone or e-mail.

We buy and evaluate old stringed instruments and bows. We’ll be happy to arrange a meeting with you for this purpose. Such a consultation is non-obligatory for you and even if we don’t buy your instrument we can inspect it free of charge and advise further service. For more information please see the FAQ section before you contact us.
