Karel Josef Dvořák (1887 -1947) was one of the best Czech violinmakers of 20th century. The violin from 1932 comes from his workshop and it is probably the work of his pupil and follower Ladislav Prokop (1909 - 1993). The violin is in the very good condition, stamped and labeled: "Carolus Joseph Dvořák ad formam Joseph Guarnerius Pragae 1932". LOB: 35,8 cm.
