Emanuel Adam HOMOLKA
1835
Emanuel Adam Homolka (1796 -1849) is one of the best Czech violin makers. He was a pupil of Caspar Strnad and the founder of the famous violin makers Homolka family. The violin from 1835 is his first class work. It is a rare example for its smaller pattern (normal 195 mm). The standard measure of Homolka's violins is 200mm. The violin is in very good and well-preserved condition, including the original varnish and the label. The Homolka's instruments are highly valued.
