Alfons František Vávra (1901 - 1957) belongs to an important Czech violin makers family Vávra. He is the son and disciple of Jan Baptista Vávra (1870 - 1937). The viola from 1938 is in the very good condition. Stamped and labeled: "Alfons F. Vávra fecit Pragae Anno 1938". LOB: 39,1 cm.
