Karel PILAŘ workshop

Karel Pilař (1899 - 1985) was an important Czech violin maker and a member of the famous violin makers family. He worked in Hradec Králové. The violin from 1948 bears the characteristic features of his workshop and is the wor of his son Vladimír Pilař (1926 - 2008). The violin is in the perfect condition without cracks. Labeled: "Vyrobil Karel Pilař houslař v Hradci Králové Roku 1948" and added monogram VP. LOB : 35,9 cm.
