Johann Baptis Havelka (1741 - arr.1799) was excellent violin maker based in Prague (Czech) and in Linz (Austria). In Prague he worked for J.J.Hellmer. The violin from 1770 is an example of his very precize work. It is repaired and certified in 1998 by Vladimír Pilař. The condition is stable after repaire, The grafted neck.
